Torture and Execution methods

This was a torture method used to make Christians forfeit their faith. Those known to be Christians were tied up and suspended in a deep hole, often filled with shit. The individual would cut near the temples to make them suffer from low blood pressure as a means to wear them down. There was usually a doctor around to resuscitate them so torment could be begun anew.
